Lately...

Lately...........

Our garden is gowing!!! Our vegetable garden we planted last month actually has tall sprouts!
It's very exciting. This is probably the 2nd time we've tried this, and it's really fun!

It looks something like this; however there are two boxes. My brother made the boxes.

They're on the side of our house. We're growing peas, tomatoes, cabbage, mustard greens, beets, radishes, peppers and so on........

Other things that have happened lately,

I had my two year blog anniversary!!!! Thank you everyone who has been reading my blog that long! :)

Another.................RAIN! For the last two days it has been raining a whole lot!

The creek in our backyard has risen so high, I feel as

if i'm on an island when I look out the window.

There has also been a lot of lightning! The other night we all stayed up late watching the lightning storm. Not tree seconds went by before more lightning came. It was very pretty.

Both my cousin and my brother had birthday's, so,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSANNAH AND NOLAN! :)

I finished sewing my very first skirt!!!! :)

I don't have a picture, and I can't find one that really resembles it so I will have to describe it you...

It has orange, purple and yellow flowers on a cream background. it is sewn in 3 sections, and it goes about 2/3 inches below my knee! I've already started on my second skirt, and I can't wait to finish!

I have been learning about the 60's decade for history, and it is very crazy.......My favorite part about this time was their wacky fashions....

I really can't imagine dressing this way.......
