It's a very famous piece of literature, I'm sure you've heard of it.
It's about a young boy named "Tom". Tom's greatest desire is to see a real prince.
He lives in a a village called "Offal court", during the reign of King Henry the eighth.
His father is a drunkard, and he beats Tom every night.
Tom also gets abused by his grandmother. He has to beg for money every day.
His twin sisters, and his mother are the only people who are nice to poor Tom.
One day while begging, Tom found himself in a rich town. Before he knows it,
he finds himself in a crowd of people in front of th palace, and inside is a real prince!
After getting pushed around by the guards, the prince orders them to stop, and
orders the poor boy in. This prince is "Prince Edward". When Tom and Edward are alone
in the princes room, they began to talk about each others lives. Just to see how they look,
the two boys exchange clothes. When they look in the mirror, they see a such a perfect resemblance between the two, it's amazing!
Since they look identical, the prince is mistaken for the beggar boy, and Tom is thought to be the prince!
The story is about the two and their mishaps and adventures along the way of trying to get back where they belong!
