IBLP....

We went to the IBLP Seminar in Houston!
   (Institute of Basic Life Principles!)
It lasted three days. . .
Have you ever been to one?

First we got there at 6:00 Pm and we found a chair and watched a video of Bill Gothard speaking on having  grateful spirit and so many other things for two hours, then we had a 20 min' break. In between breaks we would either explore the church our get a snack. Then we come and sit back down and listen to him till 9;00 then it was over for the night. We got Olivia, who was an assistant teacher to the kids upstairs, then we went home!

 (Not my picture)

The next day we left at 8 something and it started at 9:00 A.M.  We all had workbooks to fill out during the seminar, we Me my sister and cousins went to the Basic, and my older sister was in the advanced.
We had breaks every hour and  half, we had one lunch breaks and one supper breaks.
It ended at 9:00 P.M so it was lasted all day long!

The next day we got there at 9 again. This time he talked about monthly cleansing your home of anything that might not be pleasing to the Lord.

At 4:00 the kids came in to give  presentation to everyone! :) They were cute!
They sang songs about how everyone has a purpose. Even the teachers sang them so I got to watch Olivia and my two younger siblings Jeremy and Jessica sing. It was fun!

After the kids were done we had one more hour of the seminar then it was over.
I m ashamed to say I came close a few times to falling sleep, but not because it was boring, it was just so long!
I'm glad we did though I learned a lot!

Sorry There's only one picture, our camera for some reason, won't load pictures.
